Description
The white strap TNA World Heavyweight Championship represents a unique era in the title’s lineage, worn primarily by Moose in 2020–2021. It originated from the “third design” of the championship (used from 2011 to 2017)
- Moose’s Unsanctioned Reign (2020): In April 2020, Moose declared himself the TNA World Heavyweight Champion, retrieving the old 2011-2017 physical belt from storage. He later had the belt modified with a striking white strap and defended it as an unofficial championship.Â
- Official Recognition (2021): TNA (Impact Wrestling) officially recognized Moose’s title as a World Championship on February 23, 2021.Â
- Unification (2021): On March 13, 2021, at the Sacrifice event, then-Impact World Champion Rich Swann defeated Moose to unify the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and the Impact World Championship.Â
- The Main Plate: The white strap edition featured the classic silver-heavy “third design” main plate used throughout the 2010s.
- The Strap: The stark white leather strap provided a high-contrast, modern, and distinct look compared to the traditional black straps used by previous champions.
