Description
The “Big Gold Belt” (BGB) is an iconic wrestling championship commissioned in 1985 by Jim Crockett Promotions and debuted by Ric Flair in 1986. Originally representing the NWA and later WCW World Heavyweight titles, it is known for its three large, 24-karat gold-plated plates and lack of promotion branding. After WCW folded, it became the WWE World Heavyweight Championship (2002–2013)
